Never did I imagine that in my lifetime I would live through a pandemic. My generation (yes, I’m a millennial) is not accustomed to not knowing what is going to happen.
I have heard many business professionals say that if they were to pick a field in the world of business that they dislike the most, it would be HR. I feel quite differently. As a matter of fact, those comments make me feel special.
One of the things I feel most strongly about is companies and individuals opening the door to people who may not have the experience on their resume but are looking for a foot in the door. Are you willing to take a risk on someone and see what happens?
Supervisors, Managers, Leaders, Directors (whatever is your title) …. why do you like to close the door? Do you feel that you can get more work done with fewer interruptions?
